The flagship project, Excelsius Nursing College located in Klerksdorp, North West Province is near completion. The project was the vision of the North West Department of Health, with the main intent of education and practical training of future nurses in South Africa. MDCC is proud to be a part of this project and we look forward to the positive impact it will have on the health industry going forward.
The college consists of the both student residences and the educational facilities for the training of students. The on-campus residences include multiple high-rise buildings as well as new administration offices with the added offering of accommodation to visiting tutors. The training facilities incorporate full simulation wards and theatres, conventional classrooms and fully equipped auditoriums. The newly upgraded commercial kitchen ensures that the students remain well fed for optimum retention of learned material.
MDCC played an integral part of the success of this project from inception to the impending completion. The on-site grey water systems and on-site water treatment facilities mean that water can be effectively reused while the back-up electricity ensures the campus is able to continue operations during water and electricity interruptions. We look to assisting future clients with our in-house health industry consulting specialists.
