The level of inspection ranges from visual inspection and reporting to full analyses with possible testing of materials depending on the complexity of the building/structure and/or severity of damage caused. Yes, generally new designs cater for the additional loads imposed by solar panels. On older buildings we can assist with inspections of the structure to determine if solar panels can be added. Should the roof not have sufficient strength, we can offer the client various alternatives to strengthen the existing structure for their intended purpose.
